Focus on tool maintenance

Carried out regularly, tool maintenance is essential for the efficient processes running and the warranty of optimum part quality.

At EMI, we proceed to 3 maintenance levels in the life of a tool:
- Level 1: cleaning of a tool directly on press
- Level 2: cleaning of a tool in the mechanical workshop at the end of each production run.
- Level 3: cleaning of a complete tool in the mechanical workshop following a defined cycle numbers.
